August 2005 -  Pinnacle Construction Services was an LLC formed to do consulting work with the Facilities Department at Auburn University regarding the development of an extensive design and construction guidelines document to standardize quality issues for all construction projects to be done on campus and real estate speculation in the Auburn/Opelka area.

June 2006 -  Company signs a contract for its first home renovation.  This renovation included an 800 square foot addition, garage addition, new kitchen, new bath, bathroom renovation, and enclosing a carport. 

May 2008 -  Began designing and installing unique concrete countertops for commercial and residential applications.

February 2010 -  Awarded a Commercial General Contractors License.

June 2010 -  Signs first contract for a commercial renovation, turning a dilapidated historic structure converted into the White Lotus Wellness Center.

September 2010 - Completed The Villager; a downtown Auburn commercial renovation.

January 2011 - Pinnacle Construction Services, LLC began doing business as Compass Construction to incorporate both residential and commercial projects. 

May 2011 - buildwithcompass.com is launched.

June 2011 - Compass Construction began several residential renovations as well as a large commercial renovation and addition of a manufacturing facility.
